Olivia Derrett Plowright



Olivia Derrett Plowright is our newest addition to the family. Olivia has successfully advocated for clients in a wide range of matters including Civil, Labour, and Family Litigation both in the Courts of first instance (Parish Court and Supreme Court), the Court of Appeal and the Privy Council. She has a wealth of experience and a favourable command in pre litigation matters to include negotiations, settlement discussions, mediation and conciliation. Olivia is also well verse in the drafting and interpretation of contracts, formation of companies, lease agreements, and workplace policies and procedures.

As an advocate and IBI Ambassador Olivia has lead and supported many local charitable initiatives mainly geared towards educational development and fostering good environmental practices.

Olivia is patient, sincere and works at a high standard. Her chief delight is being a mother and a devoted wife. Olivia is married with one child. She enjoys event coordination and designing as well as theatrical and visual artistry.


Olivia completed her Bachelors of Law degree at the University of the West Indies with First Class Honours in 2013 and graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2015. Olivia has always had an appetite for excellence, from valedictorian for the class of 2010 at St Mary High School to valedictorian for the class of 2013 (medicine, law and engineering) at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.
