Biography
Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert has been a practicing Attorney since 1980 with over forty (40) years of experience in Estate Planning, Litigation, Criminal Law and Conveyancing. Marissa is the Managing Partner of this firm and she is currently the 2nd woman to be selected Speaker of the House in 2011 and re-elected in 2020. She has proudly represented Jamaica at several international conferences and has a wealth of experience in drafting and assessing legislation and government contracts. Marissa has also carved a distinguished career in litigation as an all-rounder.
Additionally, Marisa is a director for the SKDP Haulage and Distribution and Sherold Ltd, the founding board member of the MoBay Hope Diagnostic and Medical Centre and has served as chairperson and member of numerous Parliamentary Committees.
Marisa’s legal and political career has been driven by her passion for service. This passion has fueled her continuous re-election as a serving Member of Parliament and has well-preserved our clientele. Marisa is always committed to representing her clients at the highest level with veracity and honest efforts. She is notably known for her captivating smile, warm greeting and her robust advocacy skills.
Marisa enjoys horticultural activities and cooking. She is married and has four adult children.
